Frankfort: busy airport. Frankfort: large airport.
What is a body to do? Large, busy airports are difficult to navigate. Although, much easier if you are on a bicycle!
Dodging pedestrians is a bit of a chore, but most folks chose the moving walkways, right?
Segways, which I have also seen used in busy, large airports, always make me giggle, but I think bicycles are brilliant. In small doses. Masses of them would cause their own traffic nightmares, of course.
Frankfort also provides help for those who might be having difficulty getting around on their own. They are *FREE!* This dude clearly was happier riding than walking.
And then, as we were on the last leg of our Long Journey Home, from Frankfort to Vienna, I was perusing the in flight catalog.
Holy guacamole! A carry on scooter!
Alas, at something north of 250€ per, we will not be outfitting our nomadic band ... but a girl can dream ...
Edited to add: at the current rate of exchange, 250€ is $352US. Just because I think you should be totally clear. Not happening.
