There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Cow

I told a group of my friends before we left for Argentina that my goal for the trip was to eat an entire cow, preferably dipped in butter.

Mission accomplished, ladies.

Quick Travel Trama Update: we left for Chile today. Alas, we were rejected at the border. The domino effect of the original Argentine Airline debacle continues. We are camped out in a nice enough town just on the wrong side of the Andes.

When one has to locate a place to spend the night at the last minute in a busy tourist town (San Martín de los Andes) during the Christmas rush, one learns quickly not to be picky. The place we're in is nice enough, if one over looks the Early 1970 Grandma decor.

We are gearing up for another attempt to cross the border, and with the right combination of paperwork and luck, aim to be in Chile for dinner tomorrow. Where I hear the steak is rather nice, too.
