Because someone asked. For those loyal readers, you will recall that Jeff and I decided that a Mulligan was in order on our wedding photos. I promised at some point I would post some of the finals and promptly forgot. Luckily, someone pointed out to me the error of my ways. Please enjoy! These are only a few of the finals, but you'll get the drift. And let's face it, more than a few wedding photos has the same affect as Sominex on me.
The photos are certainly interesting. Do I look "ten years younger"? Maybe Cousin Jim can weigh in on that one: he's seen me recently.
We were lucky to have such gorgeous weather for the outside shoot. Ha! Or a photoshopper on staff. Note I don't say a "quality photoshopper," a "talented photoshopper" or even a "good photoshopper." Just ... a photoshopper.
Here's what the sky actually looked like. The red sculpture is a Phoenix; our wedding photos rising from the ashes? Or not. The sculpture is quite close to the children's school and I always liked it, so I'm glad it ended up in our Mulligan Wedding Album.
And the Piece de Resistance. The photo we had blown up to life size and will hang somewhere prominent in our new home, Somewhere in Brno. Alas, Jeff looks a little, photoshopped in the larger version. Ten years younger, yeeeesssss. Also, a bit like someone I may have run into in Wal-Mart ten years ago who bears a passing resemblance to my husband. Ah, well. Maybe in ten years we can try again.
And I will add, only in China: this is a page the nice photobook people tried to insert into my Wedding Album. Right. It's rather ironic that they chose The Princess Diaries 2, given that they had no idea that these were our second go-round on wedding photos. But still, I kicked it to the curb.

Surely this is one of the most unforgettable moments of your life. :)
